Philately Bulgaria – New Generation has announced the fourth edition of its public competition to choose the most beautiful Bulgarian postal issue. Voting on the issues of 2026 is scheduled to run from 1 January through 14 February 2027 inclusive.

The competition is being held under the patronage of the Union of Bulgarian Philatelists, Philatelic Review magazine and the Varna Philatelic Society. The organiser describes their participation as a new feature of this edition.

Participants will choose among postage stamps and philatelic products validated during 2026 by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and Bulgarian Posts.

The artist responsible for the first-placed issue will receive a plaque and certificate. Artists whose issues finish second and third will receive certificates of merit. The winning issue is to be announced on 14 February.

The competition began in 2024; the previous editions selected issues from 2023, 2024 and 2025.
