Barbados rum-shop stamp set enters circulation with five designs reported

Barbados Postal Service released a commemorative set devoted to Bajan rum shops on 17 August 2026, according to a same-day philatelic report. Five stamps are reported, turning a familiar form of neighbourhood social space into a national postal theme. An official Barbados Government Information Service social post independently describes the release as a five-denomination set scheduled for the same date.

The secondary report attributes the designs to Barbadian artist Gail O’Kane and states that the stamps were printed by lithography. It also reports a combined face value of BBD 4.60 for the set.
