CTT announced its second Portuguese Crypto Stamp on 24 September 2026. The €9.99 issue depicts Hades, the Greek god of the underworld, accompanied by black horses. It combines a physical stamp with a digital asset recorded on a blockchain.

The product forms part of a four-administration mythology collaboration. CTT’s release identifies Austria’s Perseus and Eos, Belgium’s Heracles and the Netherlands’ Demeter alongside Portugal’s Hades. The announcement places the new product within Portugal’s crypto-stamp initiative begun in 2025.

CTT states that Hades is available through its post offices and outlets, online shop and philatelic service. The official promotional artwork shows the Portuguese stamp with its €9.99 value and the collaborating countries’ mythology designs.
