JSC Marka released an Ivan Bilibin 150 th-birth-anniversary block on 5 November 2026. It contains three 50-rouble stamps and one 100-rouble stamp, with 17,000 blocks printed. The block measures 126 ×122 mm; the stamps are 26 ×37 mm and 78 ×37 mm. A.Mosolov is credited as artist-designer, with layout by S.Ulyanovsky.

The four designs reproduce Boris Kustodiev’s 1901 portrait of Bilibin, Bilibin’s 1902 illustration for The White Duck, his 1901 illustration for Sister Alyonushka and Brother Ivanushka, and a 1932 composition on a Thousand and One Nights theme. The portrait and 1932 work are credited to the Russian Museum, while the fairy-tale illustrations are credited to Goznak.

First-day covers and special cancellation devices accompany the issue in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. An illustrated presentation folder contains the block, a vignette and a Moscow-cancelled first-day cover.

Bilibin worked as a book illustrator and theatre designer. The issuer’s account traces his training under Ilya Repin, his illustrated Russian fairy tales and later work in Egypt, Paris and Leningrad.
