Nepal issued five 10-rupee commemorative stamps on World Post Day, 9 October 2026. Communications and Information Technology Minister Dr Bikram Timilsina applied the first-day cancellation during the Department of Postal Services' exhibition in Babar Mahal, Kathmandu. The release covered three subjects: two historical personalities, two Gurkha Victoria Cross recipients and the centenary of John Logie Baird's television demonstration.

The historical-personality pair depicts Bishe Nagarchi and Bange Sarki. The stamp images published by the Nepal Philatelic Society show their names, portraits and 10-rupee denominations. National Dalit Commission chair Devraj Bishwakarma welcomed recognition of figures from the Dalit community at the launch, according to OnlineKhabar's same-day account.

The military pair honours Kulbir Thapa Magar and Karna Bahadur Rana Magar. The artwork places the Victoria Cross between the portraits, while the first-day impression identifies Nepalese recipients of the decoration during the First World War. The fifth stamp portrays John Logie Baird beside television apparatus, with an inscription marking 100 years of television invention and identifying 1926 as the anniversary year.

The society's published images show separate first-day impressions for the historical pair, the Victoria Cross pair and the Baird stamp. Each bears the October launch date. OnlineKhabar reports that the minister sealed the commemorative first-day cover during the programme.
