Budhakedar temple stamp unveiled at Tehripex closing ceremony

A postal item commemorating Budhakedar temple was unveiled at the closing of Tehripex-26 in New Tehri, according to Amar Ujala's 11 October report. The newspaper describes the item as a postage stamp and names Uttarakhand Circle postal director Dinesh Kumar Mistri among the officials who unveiled it.

The Tehri postal division organised the district-level exhibition in the multipurpose auditorium of the government college. Postal officials presented awards to students who had won competitions during the two-day exhibition.

Postal superintendent Ganga Singh Rana said the displays used stamps to introduce visitors to Indian history, culture, artistic heritage and science. The report also records attendance by postal officials and college representatives at the closing programme.
