India Post's Central Region, Kochi, released Nirakkoottu, a set of four picture postcards featuring original artworks by transgender artist Miga U. K., on 14 October 2026. Postmaster General T. Nirmaladevi launched the collection at Ernakulam Head Post Office.

The release function was attended by Ernakulam District Social Justice Officer John Joshy and Divya Ramakrishnan, the district coordinator of the State Initiative on Disabilities. The Kerala Circle describes the set as a philatelic ancillary, with the artist's work forming the centrepiece of all four postcards.

The Department of Posts said the initiative recognises transgender persons' artistic talents and communicates inclusion, dignity, equal opportunity and social acceptance through philately. The release took place during Navaratri.
