Tamil Nadu Postal Circle’s Philately Passport went on sale on 19 October 2026 after its launch at Chennai GPO on 12 October. The pocket-sized booklet covers 58 locations represented by permanent pictorial cancellations across Tamil Nadu.
The dark-blue cover carries a gold outline of Tamil Nadu. The booklet is priced at ₹650 and is being sold through post offices in Chennai, Puducherry, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai and Coimbatore. Destinations represented include Pulicat, Mudumalai and Kanniyakumari.
The product turns the circle’s permanent pictorial cancellations into a structured collecting route, allowing users to build a record of postmarks from cultural, natural and historic locations around the state.
