Japan Philatelic Society published new cancellation and guidebook information for JAPEX 2026 on 15 October. The exhibition runs from 30 October to 1 November at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center’s Taito building.

Two commemorative small postmarks will be used throughout the three days: one for the sixty-first national exhibition and another for the Philippines stamp exhibition. A temporary postal counter operates on the sixth floor from 10:00 to 17:00, closing at 16:00 on the final day. Cancellation acceptance may finish earlier when queues are heavy.

Five Tokyo island post-office scenic cancellations will also be offered: Hachijojima, Hachijojima Kashitate, Sueyoshi, Nakanogo and Ogasawara. These five are for commemorative impressions only and cannot be used to dispatch mail at the venue. Asakusa’s scenic cancellation is available for both posting and commemorative use. At least ¥85 in stamps is required for the impressions.

The newly detailed official guidebook accompanies the ¥1,500 all-days admission ticket and can also be bought separately for ¥300.
