Swiss Post honours Heidi Bucher with centenary stamp

Swiss Post has announced a stamp for the centenary of artist Heidi Bucher. The design reproduces “Fliegender Hautraum”, made in 1981 using the artist’s technique of applying latex and textiles to architectural interiors and peeling the layers away.
Mayo Bucher adapted the design from a photograph by Andreas Schwarber. The gummed stamp is offset printed by Cartor in France and measures 40 by 32.5 mm. Philatelic sales begin on 29 October 2026, with branch sales and postal validity from 5 November.
