Mauritius Post opened a World Post Day exhibition of stamps and first-day covers at the Postal Museum in Port Louis on 9 October 2026. The display remains open through 31 October, giving visitors access to material documenting the country’s postal services and philatelic history.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mauritius Post chief executive Anil Seeruttun in the presence of postal employees. Jayraj Ittoo, Head of Business Development and Projects, presented the display and explained its focus.

The exhibits include historical photographs of post offices, first-day covers dating from 1979 to 2025 and other philatelic material illustrating changes in Mauritius’s postal network. The official announcement places the collection within the postal operator’s World Post Day programme.

The exhibition is being held at the Postal Museum on the Waterfront in Port Louis. Mauritius Post lists opening hours of 09:00 to 16:00 and gives 31 October 2026 as the final exhibition date. The source does not state an admission charge or announce a new stamp issue connected with the display.
