Nepal's Department of Postal Services released five Rs 10 postage stamps across three commemorative issues in Kathmandu on 9 October 2026. The releases formed part of a World Post Day programme marking the 152nd anniversary of the Universal Postal Union and were accompanied by a one-day philatelic exhibition at Babar Mahal.

Two stamps in a personality series honour Bishe Nagarchi and Bange Sarki. Nagarchi is associated with Nepal's unification period as a musician and adviser, while Sarki is remembered for refusing to assist British forces seeking intelligence for an invasion of Nepal. A second pair depicts Gurkha soldiers Kulbir Thapa Magar and Karna Bahadur Rana Magar, both recipients of the Victoria Cross for actions during the First World War.

The fifth stamp marks the centenary of John Logie Baird's public demonstration of television in London in January 1926. Communications and Information Technology Minister Bikram Timilsina inaugurated the exhibition and applied first-day cancellations to covers, formally linking the stamp releases with the World Post Day event.

Ten collectors displayed 14 frames of postal material at the exhibition. The department also recognised Nepal Philatelic Society members Dr Ashok Rana and Rishi Tulsyan for gold-medal exhibits at the Dubai and Macao international exhibitions, while Shyam Nhuchhe Pradhan was honoured for service as an international philatelic juror. The available report confirms the number and denomination of the stamps but does not give dimensions, printing methods, quantities or sales arrangements.
