ASEAN postal leaders unveil ASEAN Fruits 2026 stamps in Manila
Postal leaders from Southeast Asia unveiled the ASEAN Fruits 2026 special commemorative stamps during regional postal meetings in Manila held from 5 to 7 October 2026. The coordinated collection features a characteristic fruit from each ASEAN member state, including the Philippines' Carabao mango.
Philippine Budget Secretary Kim Robert de Leon and Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines Dato' Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino Anthony led the unveiling. Philippine Postal Corporation Postmaster General Maximo Sta. Maria III described the stamps as representations of national produce and regional partnership.
PHLPost hosted the 32nd ASEAN Postal Business Meeting and the ASEANPOST++ Meeting at the Manila Marriott Hotel. Postal organisations from ASEAN participated alongside partners from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Korea. The meetings also considered cross-border e-commerce, logistics, operational improvement and revenue development.
The government report confirms the unveiling and the Carabao mango design attributed to the Philippines, but it does not provide a complete design list, denominations, issue quantities, individual national release dates or ordering details. The unveiling therefore documents the coordinated regional programme without establishing that every participating administration placed its stamp on sale on the same date.
