Canada Post issued its 2026 Diwali stamp on 19 October. The illustration shows hands stringing marigolds and mango leaves into a traditional torana, with part of the string forming the outline of a diya. The design places these decorations against a vivid red background and presents “Diwali” in English and Hindi.

Kristine Do designed the issue and Radha Joshi Raul created the illustration. Colour Innovations printed it. The issue comprises a booklet of six Permanent domestic-rate stamps and an Official First Day Cover, with Brampton, Ontario, used as the cancellation location.

The stamp and related collectibles went on sale through Canada Post and selected postal outlets on 19 October. Diwali begins on 8 November in 2026.
