The Pasadena Post Office announced a Route 66 pictorial cancellation for the Crafting Memories community event at Pasadena Museum of History on 11 October 2026. Its notice scheduled a local unveiling of the Route 66 Forever stamps at noon and a letter-writing station during the event.

USPS stated that the cancellation would remain available at the Pasadena Post Office for 30 days after the event, including requests by mail. The museum’s programme separately confirms the postal participation. This was a local cancellation and unveiling for stamps first issued in May, rather than a new October stamp issue.
