Brazil’s 2026 América: Lagos e Lagunas issue depicts Lake Paranoá and Lagoa dos Patos. The two R$9.15 stamps were released on 3 October in Brasília and Porto Alegre. Mario Baratta created the artwork.
The Paranoá design combines the Brasília sky, red earth and a bridge over the lake. The Lagoa dos Patos design includes a ship and the Itapuã Lighthouse. Official bulletin 11/2026 specifies offset printing by the Brazilian Mint on gummed chalky paper, with 60,000 stamps in total, 30,000 of each design. Sheets contain twelve 38 × 38 mm stamps.
