Correo Uruguayo presented a commemorative stamp for the 2026 Día del Patrimonio under the theme “Raíces indígenas: pasado, presente y futuro”. The design by artist Mary Porto Casas depicts an Indigenous mother presenting her baby to the Moon; the enlarged stamp displayed at the launch identifies the scene as a Charrúa lunar ceremony.

The postal administration’s report, published on 29 September 2026, places the presentation at Torre Ejecutiva during the official launch of the 32nd Heritage Day celebration. The heritage weekend was held on 3 and 4 October. Those celebration dates are also printed on the accompanying display artwork.
