The U.S. Postal Service reported on 1 October 2026 that its Breast Cancer Research semipostal stamp had raised $99.8 million as of July 2026. Seventy percent of the proceeds go to the National Institutes of Health and thirty percent to the Defense Department’s medical research programme.

The stamp was first issued in Washington, DC, on 29 July 1998. Whitney Sherman supplied the artwork and Ethel Kessler designed the stamp. USPS sells it in sheets of twenty.
