A commemorative postal item was unveiled at Varanasi’s Namo Ghat during the “Wings Over Ganges” air show on 25 October 2026, according to Dainik Jagran. Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh took part in the presentation with the local postal head.

The newspaper reports that the Department of Posts prepared the item to commemorate the aerial display. It describes imagery combining aircraft flying over the Ganga with the cultural landscape of Kashi.

The accompanying release photograph shows the participants holding open presentation folders containing illustrated envelopes. The left-hand panels display the commemorative covers; the facing panels contain accompanying printed material.

The ceremony formed part of the air-show programme held at Namo Ghat on 22, 24 and 25 October. The postal presentation connected the aviation event with its riverside host city through the cover’s design.
