Taking a Course

Reading a free course on the site, step by step, until you finish it. Some courses are made by the site. Others are made by regular members or clubs — called "Community courses." They all show up together in the same list.
Where: Tap "Learn" in the main menu.

1. You'll see a list of courses. Tap one to open it and read what it's about.
2. To join, tap "Register for this Course." This is free.
3. What happens next depends on the course: some let you in right away; some need the course owner to approve you first — you'll see your request as "pending" until then.
4. Some courses are only for members of one specific club. If you're not a member of that club, you won't be able to join. You'll be told this if it applies.
5. Before you even register, you can usually read a little for free — a "preview." It stops at some point and asks you to register.
6. Once registered, to get back into the course: go to "Learn," tap "My Learning" (shows only your registered courses), then tap your course.
7. Inside the course: tap a Section, then a Topic inside it, then a Lesson inside that.
8. At the bottom of the lesson, there's a "Mark Complete" button — but it won't work right away. You have to stay on that lesson for 5 minutes first. After 5 minutes it turns on. If you leave early, your progress is saved and the timer restarts next time.
9. While reading, you can also tap the heart to Like it, or the bookmark to save it for later.
10. To move to the next lesson, tap the "Next" button at the bottom (shows the next lesson's name). It becomes "End of topic" once you've reached the last one.
11. Keep going lesson by lesson, topic by topic, section by section, until you finish the whole course.
12. Time limits: some courses only let you stay registered for a set time (1/3/6/9 months or 1 year); others never expire — the creator decides this. If your time runs out, you'll see your access has expired on that course's page — but nothing you've read is lost. Just tap "Register for this Course" again to pick up right where you left off.
13. Finish every lesson and you earn a certificate — proof you completed the course.
14. To see it: go to "Learn," tap "My Learning," open that course again, and there's a button to view/download your certificate. If the course has a time limit, your access needs to still be active to see it.
