Creating & Editing Your Profile

• Profile Photo and Cover Photo — click to upload a photo from your device. Both are optional, and you can add or change them anytime.
• Full Name — this is greyed out and can't be edited here. If there's a typo or you need it corrected, contact the site admin through the "Contact Us" page and ask them to fix it for you.
• Alias — this is your username on the site, and you can change this yourself anytime.
• The public-profile agreement — a checkbox confirming you're okay with your profile being visible to other members. This is always checked; it's a confirmation, not a choice.
• Your Story — a text box to write about yourself and your collecting journey, in your own words. Optional.

• Your Address — same as when you joined. In India, PIN code auto-fills state/city; outside India, type it in by hand. Editable anytime.
• Your Email:
  • If you signed up using Google, your email box will look greyed out and you can't type over it directly — that's normal, since it's tied to your Google account. To change it: further down the page, look for a section that shows "Google linked" with your Gmail address and a small Change link.
  • If you signed up using your phone number, your email box is a normal typing box — just clear it, type the new one, and save.
• Your Phone Number — you can't type a new number directly into this box. Click "change phone number," enter your new number, and we'll text you a short code (OTP) to confirm it's really yours.

• What do you collect? Click "Select" and a list pops up with everything the site supports — not just stamps and coins, but things like Matchboxes, Cars & Bikes, Movies & Music, Books, Sports memorabilia, and more. Tick as many as apply, then close the popup — your choices appear as small tags.
• If you tick Philately (stamps) or Numismatic (coins): a second question appears — "Format Collected" — asking exactly what kind. Click All to select everything in one tap, or Specific to open a searchable list.
• Collecting Since (Year) — just type the year you started.

Note: right now, only Philately and Numismatic have this extra "what format" question. More categories will get their own version later.

• Are you a seller? — a Yes/No switch. If No, that's it. If Yes, a new question appears: "Where do you sell?"
• Where do you sell? (only appears if Yes) — tick any that apply: WhatsApp Groups, Facebook Groups, Your Own Website, or Other Philately Websites.
• For each one you tick, a box appears to add the actual group or website: Name, an optional Join Link, and a checkbox — "Allow others to list/sell here". Add more with + Add Another.

What subjects do you collect around — birds, sports, space, historical events, etc.? For each category, click All to select everything, or Specific to search and hand-pick.

Don't see your theme listed? Type it into "Other theme not listed" and click + Add. It goes to the site team for review first before becoming an official option.

• Countries — which countries' stamps/coins you collect, grouped by region. Same All/Specific pattern, plus an "Other country" box.
• Colonies — historical colonial-era territories, listed separately, same pattern, plus an "Other colony" box.

Anything typed into an "Other" box goes through a quick site-team review before becoming official — not instant.

Showcase your awards? — Yes/No switch. If Yes, a "Report an Award" button appears, opening a form:

1. Club — tap to search and pick from a list, or "Other (not listed)" to type it yourself.
2. Award Category — tap-and-pick list.
3. Award Title — type the name of the award.
4. Award Date — tap to pick from a calendar.
5. Presented By (optional) — who gave you the award.
6. Event (optional) — pick a real event, "Not linked to an event," or "Other (not listed)."
7. Citation / Reason for Award — a short explanation.
8. Description — further detail.
9. Medal / Certificate / Trophy (optional) — e.g. "Gold Medal."
10. Photos, Certificate, Supporting Documents (optional) — multiple photos allowed.
11. Feature on homepage — a switch to request it be shown there.

After submitting, it's marked "Self-Reported" and the connected club needs to confirm it before it shows as fully verified.

• Are you a member of any philatelic organization? — Yes/No switch. If No, nothing else appears.
• If Yes: choose India or International depending on where it's based.
• Organizations are grouped by state (India) or country (International). Tap "Specific" to open a searchable list.
• If it's not listed, there's a plain typing box to type its name yourself, with a button to add more than one.
