Think of this as a reference book you can search — it holds information and pictures of real, known stamps from around the world. It's completely separate from your own collection in Albums. One honest thing worth knowing: this part of the site is still a fairly early, experimental version.

- Use the main search box to type in what you already know — its catalog number (a reference number collectors use, from a well-known numbering system called "Scott"), its name, its series, or a particular variety.
- For a more specific search, extra boxes let you search by Year, Colour, Perforation (the little punched holes around the edge), Watermark (a faint pattern in the paper), Printing method, Denomination (its printed value), and Topic. Fill in only what you know.
- Tap any result to see its full details and a picture, when available.
