India issues commemorative postage stamp in memory of Sant Malukdas Ji

India’s Department of Posts issued a commemorative postage stamp in honour of Sant Malukdas Ji on 15 September 2026. Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia released it at a Sant Samagam in New Delhi.

The government said the issue places Sant Malukdas Ji’s spiritual and cultural legacy in national memory and connects later generations with his teachings. At the ceremony, Scindia highlighted devotion, knowledge, compassion, service and public welfare associated with the saint.

The Press Information Bureau published the announcement at 7:32 PM IST on 15 September and supplied official photographs of the release ceremony, including an image showing Scindia and religious leaders displaying the philatelic material.
