Isle of Man extends triskelion series with six contemporary designs

Isle of Man Stamps & Coins issued The Triskelion Collection II on 10 August 2026, continuing its exploration of the Island’s three-legged national emblem through six contemporary interpretations. The issue connects the symbol’s medieval establishment as the emblem of Mann with its continuing use on the Manx flag, currency, organisations, sporting events and the Isle of Man TT.

EJC Design supplied the images and design, with text by Isle of Man Post Office. bpost printed the stamps by four-colour offset lithography on Tullis Russell Tru White Litho FSC paper. The stamps measure 40 by 32 mm, are perforated 11.5 per 2 cm and come in sheets of 16. Presentation packs were limited to 1,000 and first-day covers to 1,500.

The issue is a direct continuation of an established Manx national-symbol series rather than a generic heraldic release, showing how the triskelion remains active in contemporary visual culture while retaining its historical identity.
