Poczta Polska issues Local Content stamp promoting Polish industrial capability

Poczta Polska placed “Local Content. Value for Poland” into circulation on 8 September 2026, a commemorative issue developed with the Ministry of State Assets. The stamp carries the Local Content logo and the slogan “Value for Poland,” while the sheet uses Polish national colours and three illustrated labels to connect the initiative with industrial, energy and technological capability.

The six-stamp sheet includes three labels showing the Głogów Copper Smelter, the Baltic Power offshore wind project and Poland’s defence industry. The stamp measures 43 by 31.25 mm, was printed by offset on fluorescent paper, and the official product information gives a print run of 99,000.

Collector products include an FDC, folders, a postcard and maximum card. The issue is notable as a postal treatment of contemporary industrial policy, linking a national economic initiative to specific infrastructure and manufacturing imagery rather than using an abstract commemorative emblem alone.
