Polish Post supports the 34th charity finale with January stamp

Poczta Polska placed a stamp for the 34th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity into circulation on 25 January. The 4.90-złoty issue was designed by Jerzy Owsiak and Barbara Kasperek and printed by offset on fluorescent paper.

The official listing records one stamp in the issue, sheets of twelve and a print run of 114,000 stamps. It also identifies catalogue numbers for the stamp and first-day cover, providing collectors with practical identifiers beyond the campaign title and artwork.

Because the issue was sold only in sheets, intact sheet format may be important to specialists even when single stamps circulate separately. Collectors should preserve selvage and acquisition records and distinguish the postal issue from the charity’s other badges, labels and merchandise.
