Åland Post announces 2026 programme spanning nature, anniversaries and postal labels

Åland Post announced its 2026 stamp programme in January, giving collectors an early view of the year’s planned subjects and formats. The programme was due to begin on 4 February with self-adhesive franking labels depicting four common Åland tree species.

Advance programmes help collectors plan subscriptions and thematic purchases, but they are not final catalogue records. Issue dates, denominations, formats and even subjects can change before release, and images shown in advance may not fully represent finished printing.

Collectors should use the announcement as a planning document and create final entries only from individual issue specifications. Comparing the preliminary programme with released products can also reveal postponed, renamed or altered issues that deserve separate documentation.
